Rule?

Constant exploration and experimentation is what all designers should have. This adventurous spirit is fascinating. During the presentation, what impressed me was about Wolfgang Weingart’s work sharing.

When I saw his work for the first time, I was very surprised by his creativity, from his work, I could see the shadow of Emil ruder and Moholy-nagy. Unlike Emil, Wolfgang Weingart prefers to combine halftone negatives with collage techniques, using phototypesetting techniques to design poster print works with rich layers and unique textures. Even more unimaginable is that this was done before digitization. Emil ruder, on the other hand, prefers to use the arrangement of graphics and typography to create atmosphere.

Although the styles look somewhat similar, this experimentation with different materials and techniques in graphic design is very valuable.

On REMIX, I think the rebellious spirit of Wolfgang Weingart will be an important entry point.

Remix can borrow or use other works, but it needs enough rebel spirit to break the framework set by the original. That is to say, you need to integrate your own thinking under the premise of respect, instead of following certain rules or principles.
