REFLECT UPON THE INTERIM SHOW
During the creation of Project 3, I was involved in offline brainstorming, proposing core ideas, supporting filming, overall visual presentation and optimisation of the presentation, themed photo shoots, brochure production, secondary poster production, creative product design and printing, social media operation and final set up of the exhibition.
Throughout our creative process, we had the advantage that the team had a clear division of labour and clear objectives from the very beginning of the project. During the project we had many offline discussions as a team, and this face-to-face communication made for a very efficient process and a good summary of the parts that were completed and what to aim for next. However, where our team fell short was in the final output of our project, we focused too much on the video presentation, and the themed photography, and after seeing the results of the other groups’ presentations at the exhibition, we realised that we had not designed and produced enough brand derivatives, and in my future design career I will focus more on looking at the completeness and richness of the finished design.
